Now thanks be to God who always LEADS us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. II Corinthianw 2:14.
If we take a critical look at the verse above, it gives us an idea as to one vital way we can access this finished work of victory and appropriate it in our everyday lives. Paul unveils a major key and it is called DIVINE GUIDANCE.
When God leads, victory is always the destination hence Paul’s audacious statement that God ALWAYS LEADS us in TRIUPMH (VICTORY).
The implication of this is that as long as we subscribe to divine guidance, victory is sure & certain. There are various ways through which God leads us and if we commit to following His leading, we will continuously live the victorious life.
One primary way God leads us is through His word and that’s why it is vital for us as believers to have time for God’s word. It’s our compass to a world of unending victories. We live in a fast paced world today and so if we aren’t deliberate about it, we won’t have time for God’s word.
David was a man of unending victories, he never lost a battle. In Psalms 119:97, he uncovered one of his secrets when he said “I deeply love your law! I think about it all day.” He not only had time for God’s word, he filled his thoughts with it, little wonder he enjoyed so much victories.
God’s word is our guide, our compass; it gives us confidence and assurance of victory in confronting the issues of life. Make a decision today to create time to study God’s word; allow it fill your thoughts and you will be well on your way to an unending victorious life like David.
