ACHIEVE GREATNESS WITH YEMI AND BIMBO DAVIDS
Day 23 October 2019
The Favour Factor
Scriptural Reference: “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success” – Joshua 1: 8
The Bible is an agglomeration of covenant laws; laws of marriage, laws of finance, laws of administration, laws of academic excellence, laws of favour, and the likes. I believe the Bible is a life-manual and it contains the laws of life in summary. As we align ourselves with these laws we will make our own way prosperous and then we will have good success. Destiny is in our hands. No wonder in Deuteronomy 30: 19, God presents us with life and death, blessing and curses, but we have to choose. Every man is a product of his or her choices and these choices will either activate the blessing or lead to a curse. Thankfully the power to choose is made available to us.
The Holy Spirit is available to help to see several laws of favour in the scriptures, which we must embrace if we must enjoy and grow in favor. We must realize that favour is in levels, and as we consistently practice these laws, we grow from one level to another. This growth is what would culminate in the fulfilment of destiny.
In the midst of human weaknesses of envy, jealousy, wickedness, etc., it will take God’s kind of favour to make a man fulfil destiny. The scripture is rich with stories of various men and women who enjoyed the God kind of favor, in spite of wicked scheming by evil people; we must learn from them and produce an even better order of results.
Daily digest: Even Jesus Christ had to grow in favor. “And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man” (Luke 2: 52)
Prayer: I receive favor with God and with man in everything I do in the name of Jesus!
