ACHIEVE GREATNESS WITH YEMI AND BIMBO DAVIDS
Day 11 November 2019
Thanksgiving: Key to Multiplication – Part 2
Scriptural Reference: ‘Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord, praise the Lord’ (Psalm 150:6)
Thanksgiving, praises and worship expressed with trust in God in our moments of frustration will always turn the tide and lead to the blessing of overflow. Paul and Silas experienced the same blessing in acts 16:23-34, where they were imprisoned in the inner prison and locked with heavy chains, and at midnight, they prayed and sang praises, which led to their great deliverance.
In fact, the Jailer took them home, washed their wounds and set meat before them. If the man that was meant to monitor your imprisonment is now the one setting meat before you, listening to you preaches the gospel while you lead his household to salvation. You can be sure that you are experiencing the overflow.
God inhabits the praises of His people (Ps 22:3). When in our midnight hour, or hour of desperation and unusual need, let’s turn to praise God for His mighty works and we will experience the fullness of His presence. When God steps in, He usually comes with an overflow of healing, blessing, deliverance, name it, because that is who He is. The way mosquitoes carry malaria parasites is the same way God is overflow personified And since He inhabits the praises of His people when you praise Him for real, you will experience the visitation of the overflow.
Daily digest: Let praises be your lifestyle and your overflow will never end. ‘Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord, praise the Lord’ (Psalm 150:6)
Prayer: Dear Lord, We take this opportunity to thank you for those blessings you have bestowed upon us that we take for granted and the numerous ones on the way.
