ACHIEVE GREATNESS WITH YEMI AND BIMBO DAVIDS
Day 19 December 2019
Growing In Wisdom – Part 2
Scripture Reference: “Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise: which having no guide, overseer, or ruler, provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest”. – Proverbs 6:6-8
Another key to enjoying God’s wisdom is OBSERVATION. Ability to take note of details around you. The eyes that look are not the same eyes that see. Looking at the life of Solomon, you will notice that he spoke about animals and several stuff: spiders, the lions, the bees, etc. It is a function of observation – taking time to investigate things. Be observant in your office, at home, with your kids and with life generally.
There are fundamental reasons why people fail and succeed. Observation will help you learn from them and receive instruction. Solomon said, “I went by the field of a slothful, and I noticed this and I noticed that, and I reached the conclusion that a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the arms, so shall your poverty come like a traveller and thy want as an armed man.”
Obviously, he was observant – observing things around him. Be very observant. That can change your marriage for the better. As you will what need or should be better and why things are the way they are in your marriage, you can create change.
Daily digest: To acquire knowledge, one must study; but to acquire wisdom, one must observe.
Prayer: Father, let your wisdom prevail in all my undertakings that are in accordance with your will for my life, in Jesus’ name
