“Give and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” – Luke 6:38
We honour God first with our lives and then with all that He has blessed us with, our finances inclusive. Financial stewardship rests heavily on the principle of honour. Honoring God. Once this principle is missed, it places a limit on how far we can go financially.
For instance, there is the cardinal financial principle of tithing. This is giving back a tenth of all our earnings to God, first in gratitude and then as a sign of honour & trust in God. The principle of honour comes alive here as soon as we realize that it’s not just about giving back a tenth to God but about giving back the FIRST tenth to God specifically in the local assembly where we are being “fed” God’s word.
The resultant blessing that comes from tithing is enormous and literally humongous as clearly stated in Malachi 3:10-12. God will practically open up to faithful financial stewards, the floodgates of heaven’s blessings. Anyone operating under this kind of open heavens cannot but be super productive on the earth.
We can literally put an end to financial hardship in our lives by engaging this covenant tool of tithing. Make a commitment to it today and watch God step into your finance in a most definite & positive way.

Dear Heavenly Father, I honor you with all I am and all that I have. I am a giver. I will no longer hold back my stewardship in your kingdom particularly with regards to my finances and resources.
