ACHIEVE GREATNESS WITH YEMI AND BIMBO DAVIDS
Day 8 February 2020
An off-shoot of what lies within – Part 1
Scripture Reference: “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: if either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken”. – Ecclesiastes 4: 9-12
The scripture says, “Two are better than one, for they have a better reward for their labour” if they can work together in agreement. You can’t achieve greatness without knowing how to handle relationships. I believe that marital success or failure is often an off-shoot of how you handle your relationships generally. If you don’t know how to treat people well in your office, and you don’t know how to handle the opposite sex generally; the same problem will show up in your marital setting.
I tell people, the best way to prepare for marriage is to know how to handle relationships generally in the office, in the neighbourhood – everywhere. A lady that is naturally rude and lacks courtesy, no matter how she tries to act differently in a marital setting will find this attitude showing up. It’s just a matter of time and under the right temperature and pressure. Learn how to handle people generally and you will handle your spouse.
Daily digest: Don’t be so quick to judge me. You only see what I choose to show you.
Prayer: Dear Father, Thank you for your great love for us. Lord, to feel just an inch of the radiance of your love and the glow from your excellence will be more than we can imagine. Knowing your love for us is humbling too. We are imperfect humans moving around on this Earth day to day attempting to live lives that are worthy of the calling you have on us. We need your guidance and direction.
