ACHIEVE GREATNESS WITH YEMI AND BIMBO DAVIDS
An off-shoot of what lies within – 2
Scripture Reference: “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: if either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken”. – Ecclesiastes 4: 9-12
It is an offshoot of what is already inside of you. A lizard in Nigeria cannot become an alligator in America. When you see the way an individual relates and handles others, it is a pointer to what he or she will do if you get married to him or her. Don’t be deceived.
I remember several years ago, I was working on a construction project. I met a lady architect. She was wonderful with her profession. She was not married and she was getting old. I actually was wondering why she wasn’t married.
One Monday morning, she came to work rather excited and was recounting the event that occurred over the weekend. She had an issue with a policeman while driving and narrated the story excitedly. She fought the policeman, tore his uniform, pushed him into the gutter and the story went on like that. I was bewildered. “Wow! You fought a policeman, tore his clothes, and pushed him into the gutter? You must be powerful!” At that moment, I just thought within myself how it might be a disaster to marry such a person because one day when you have an argument, you might end up deep in the gutter. I don’t even have police training. What hope do I have?

Prayer: Thank you, Father, that no matter where our hearts are you are always reaching out to love us unconditionally! You are the ultimate example of love and we are so grateful for that! In Jesus’ Holy name we pray, Amen.
