“The mind is not a vessel to be filled but a fire to be kindled” -Plutarch
We must seek to develop covenant relationships. Covenant relationships are catalysts that help our destiny flourish. Everyone must find a relationship that influences them positively; a mentor in business, career, family life, ministry and every sphere of our lives. These relationships can be built closely or from a distance (through their books or via electronic media)
In 2 Kings 2: 8- 14 Elisha wanted a double portion of Elijah’s anointing. He was focused, he was determined, he was willing to learn and he received what he diligently sought after. Ultimately, Elisha produced results after the kind of his master.
“No man is capable of self-improvement if he sees no other model but himself – Conraso Generoso.
The key to building a covenant relationship is to be focused on what you want to achieve from the relationship, remain humble, teachable and persevere. Be deliberate & consistent in nurturing the relationship.
Finally, seek to invest in others, be supportive of others and seek to impact lives; allow everyone around you grow.
PRAYER
Father, open my eyes to see those covenant relationships you have placed in my path, help me remain focused, humble and teachable in Jesus name.
