Topic: Hard Work
“He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.” – Prov. 10:4KJV Every single human being wants to succeed at one thing or the other. Ranging from improving finances, starting a business, losing weight, learning a skill, stopping a habit, to starting a new one. All kinds of desires and goals. The difference maker between those that succeed and those that fail usually comes down to those that desire it enough to pay the price needed for it to be accomplished. “If wishes were horses, beggars would ride,” they say. Success has been evasive to some because they’ve not been willing to put in the work required to accomplish all that is needed. Success and the privileges that come with it are strictly reserved for the diligent that refuse to stop short of the results desired, regardless of the excuses life tries to throw at them (Prov.12:24, Prov.22:29). There’s a popular Chinese proverb that says, “No one who can rise before dawn 360 days a year fails to make his family rich”. As the scriptures say, “in all labour there is profit” (Prov.14:23). Wake up today and put in the work that is required. Don’t just ‘do your best’ but rather do ‘all it takes’ to reach and accomplish our goals and desires. Don’t stop short of success. See it through to end! PRAYER Father, I bless you for the work of my hands. Today, I receive grace and the required wisdom to do all it takes, to put in extra effort to my work. I receive the blessing which makes the effort to bear much fruit in Jesus name.
