“Think of yourselves the way Christ Jesus thought of himself. He had equal status with God but didn’t think so much of himself that he had to cling to the advantages of that status no matter what. Not at all. When the time came, he set aside the privileges of deity and took on the status of a slave, became human! Having become human, he stayed human. It was an incredibly humbling process. He didn’t claim special privileges. Instead, he lived a selfless, obedient life and then died a selfless, obedient death—and the worst kind of death at that—a crucifixion.” – Philippians 2:5-8 MSG
Promotion and exaltation always comes after humility.
“Because of that obedience, God lifted him high and honored him far beyond anyone or anything, ever, so that all created beings in heaven and on earth—even those long ago dead and buried—will bow in worship before this Jesus Christ, and call out in praise that he is the Master of all, to the glorious honor of God the Father.” – Philippians 2:9-11 MSG
We all desire promotion, lifting and greatness but our Lord Jesus shows us the way. It is by stripping ourselves from every taint of pride, ego, arrogance and self-centredness.
Humility is not weakness. It is not thinking less of yourself but thinking of yourself less. Humility thinks of how to serve others, how to be a blessing to others. When you’re always thinking of how others should serve you and do things for you, you’re on the path to pride.
You may be a boss, and have several staff under you. But instead of always asking them to do things for you, think of how you can also serve them. Ask about their families, if you can, give them a raise.
Yes, I know people can take it for granted. But don’t forget, your reward will not come from man but from God, the ultimate boss.
Always be grateful for whatever privilege you enjoy now. Life itself is a privilege. That understanding will keep us humble and grateful.

Our Greeters serve as doorkeepers (Psalm 84:1-10) and are the front line officers of the church.

The overall goal of the team is to create a WOW experience for all GIC guests at every point in time. To give everyone who walks into Global Impact Church, including existing members, a sense of belonging by creating an atmosphere of warmth and personal welcome, showing genuine interest, keeping them informed, and effectively acting as an interface between the Pastorate and the Members.
The Ushering unit is an arm of the Hospitality Group of the church - GLOBAL IMPACT CHURCH.
It is an essential part of the ministry of help. The team assists the Church leadership in providing total care to members of the Church (and guests) and also maintaining order particularly during services and Church events.
The GIC Protocol unit is the goodwill ambassador of the church. It is an essential part of the “Helps Ministry” (Exodus 17:10-12). This is a unit made up of God fearing and spirit filled individuals, whose duty is to serve by managing and organizing activities around the set man. We carry out every one of our functions with topmost diligence and compliance with laid down protocols and great respect for those in authority.
Our duties include support for our Pastors, as well as invited Guests and Ministers as well as the enhancement a seamless integration for them during service.
GIC Protocol Officers operate the principle of honor and we do all within our power to ensure that these anointed men of God, are well catered to. Each interaction is a privilege and opportunity to offer the most excellent hospitality.
